A downloadable workbook

Here are two foldable workbooks for very small hexcrawls.

Tiny Hexcrawl simply has a front-cover hex map, and then seven internal pages to add details of the hexes, with prompts that I've found useful when doing my Hex24 project. Fill in the hex numbers on the frontaccording to your preference (just 1 to 7 if you like, or letters, or co-ordinates) and then fill out the individual hex pages.

Tiny Hexcrawl Structured compresses the pages for individual hexes and adds:

  • a page for the "home" hex, starting village/fort/whatever, with space for details about factions, NPCs, and facilities
  • two pages for a "dungeon" hex, with a point map (cross one of these points off then draw lines between the remainders)
  • a page for a 2d6 random encounter table - see https://www.paperspencils.com/structuring-encounter-tables-amended-restated/ for suggestions as to how this might be filled out
